Arriving at Hilltop Inn & Suites in North Stonington for a New Year's getaway, I was immediately impressed by the warm welcome and efficient shuttle service. the comfortable beds and accommodating staff made for a cozy stay. the complimentary breakfast with a waffle maker was a delightful touch, perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring. During our visit, the hotel's peaceful surroundings provided a serene backdrop, ideal for relaxation. the minimal crowd added to the tranquility, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the clean, spacious rooms. While the property may benefit from some updates, the friendly staff and decent breakfast made our stay worthwhile. One minor inconvenience was the delayed shuttle service starting at 5:30 pm, which impacted our afternoon plans. However, the reasonable pricing and pleasant atmosphere compensated for this drawback. the access to nearby attractions such as the Mystic Seaport and Aquarium added a touch of adventure to our trip, making it a well-rounded experience.
